Summer Family Nights

Tuesday Evenings (July & August - 7:00 pm)

Each Tuesday during July and August beginning at 7:00 pm families can discover Nature when the attend the weekly programs led by one of our volunteers. So if you want to learn about butterflies, plants or insects this is the place to be on Tuesday evenings in the summer.

SUMMER JUNIOR MASTER GARDENER CAMP

Two Weeks of Summer Nature Camp
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm
(children entering 2nd – 5th grades)

Week Two - August 10 - 14
Insects

Both weeks of camp will utilize the wonderful resources of the nature center’s backyard, meadow, and wooded environments.  Both weeks include activities from the Junior Master Gardener® curriculum (www.jmgkids.us).  The programs are prepared and delivered by a Junior Master Gardener® Specialist with the assistance of additional Mercer County Master Gardeners and educators.  Camp will be a balance of outdoor exploration, exciting science activities and demonstrations, and traditional camp activities – including nature arts and crafts. 

The fee for each week of camp (9 am to 4 pm) is $165.  No before or after care is provided.  Each week is limited to the first 20 applicants.
