Earth Day Celebration
April 2010

Earthday 2010 was filled with sunshine and numerous activities, displays and exhibits focusing on nature and the environment.

One of the highlights for the day painting a rain barrel that will help to conserve water.

The Lawrence Nature Center free market was big hit for those in attendance.

Organizations from throughout the county and township residents came to celebrate Earth Day. Shown here is a presentation from Sustainable Lawrence in recognition of the Lawrence Nature Cneter pledge to have a Chemical Free lawn.

Mercer County presented a program on wildlife that can be seen right here in our parks.

The Girl Scouts provided information watershed pollution.
